Our Vocational High School places strategic emphasis on becoming a nationally and internationally respected, innovative institution that focuses on societal contribution within the Tourism sector. Accordingly, the strategic objectives are organized around four axes: training qualified tourism support personnel, developing research capacity, expanding societal responsibility activities, and strengthening institutional sustainability. All strategic targets are monitored in alignment with the quality assurance system and are updated with a continuous improvement mindset.
One of our school’s core strategic aims is to graduate tourism personnel equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values demanded by the era. Within this scope, ensuring the currency of curricula, promoting student-centered teaching methods, and increasing opportunities for practice-based learning are among the primary goals.
Our students are expected to develop not only in terms of field knowledge but also in professional competencies such as critical thinking, problem solving, digital literacy, and ethical responsibility.
Enhancing research and scientific productivity constitutes another strategic priority for our higher education institution. Accordingly, supporting qualified publications, projects, and scientific activities by academic staff; and fostering an interdisciplinary research culture are targeted. Through increasing national and international collaborations, the scientific visibility and impact of our school are planned to be raised within this framework.
In the dimension of societal contribution, our school adopts a responsive approach to the needs of the region. By developing partnerships with local governments and non-governmental organizations, the expansion of support programs is targeted. Thus, transforming our school’s knowledge into social value and strengthening its role in social responsibility are intended outcomes.
Institutional development and sustainability also hold a significant place among our strategic aims. In this scope, the objectives include supporting the professional development of human resources, improving physical and technological infrastructure, disseminating a culture of quality assurance among all stakeholders, and strengthening a participatory governance approach. By developing transparent, accountable, and data-driven decision-making processes, we aim to enhance institutional effectiveness and efficiency.
